Chinatown Night Market

Friday July 30, 8pm

Chinatown Night Market at 100 block Keefer Street.

You haven't been to Vancouver if you haven't been to Chinatown!  Check out Vancouver’s vibrant Chinatown for the Chinatown Night Market, a culinary and shopping extravaganza.  Mozaico Flamenco performs at 100 block Keefer Street.  Join Kasandra La China in unveiling our new dance company members in “Gallardo” by flamenco pianist, Dorantes.  Sevillanas, Fandangos & Cana accompanied by Vancouver’s Juan de Marias on guitar.

Catch the LAST of our Introduction to Flamenco SEVILLANAS workshops with Michelle Harding & Andrea Williams:

INTRODUCTION – Sevillanas 3rd copla.  This goes over technique and a short choreography of Sevillanas.

August 5, 12, 19, 26            Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm

August 9, 15, 22, 29            Sundays 10:30am-12:00pm

 

INTRODUCTION TO CASTANETS – Learn how to play castanets, technique and Sevillanas.  10 pairs of school castanets may be reserved if you do not have your own! *

July 9, 16, 23                        Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm

August 7, 14, 21, 28            Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm
