To All Newcomers:

Welcome to our FALL TERM at Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy!

Please join our NEW Introduction to Flamenco Dance Classes starting in September!  Flamenco is a fun way to get some fitness into your fall regime.  Our students say that it is mentally challenging as well as physically stimulating.  Our introduction classes teach flamenco technique and body coordination.

There are three courses offered.

We welcome students to join our 7 week technique session.  Each class is 90 minutes and includes body coordination, technique and footwork exercises to be repeated each week.  The final 30 minutes we will teach one copla of Sevillanas, a short choreography of a regional folk dance from Seville.

Students pay for a 7 week session for $140.   For flexibility, if students miss one class, they can make it up on the other day; eg: if you miss a Sunday, you can make it up on Thursday and vice versa.  Fee includes gst and live musicians for some classes.

New Location

Alternatively, we are starting classes at a NEW location at the Vancouver Tap Dance Society at 2775 E. Hastings Street which is located 2 blocks west of the PNE grounds.  Flamenco and Tap have always been close artistic friends, so we are happy to have Oscar Nieto teaching at this new location!

Tuesday  7:30-9:00pm, Tangos, Oscar Nieto, VTDS

8 class card, $160

Email Oscar regarding his travel schedule.
