Origins: It is assumed that Tangos de Malaga is from the city of Malaga but there has been some flamencology debate that the origins of Tango de Malaga are from Granada! The palo was made famous by singers El Piyayo (a bohemian who spent time in Cuba) and La Repompa.

Origins: Tarantos is a cante de las minas, song of the mines, descended from the Taranta. It is considered Cante Jondo, deep profound song. It is one of the most difficult palos in flamenco.

Origins: Bamberas is a traditional Andalusian song considered a ‘cante de columpio’, “song of the swing” because they were sung to the rhythm of a swing.
“Zorongo” 10 min
Origins: Zorongo is one of the songs by Federico Garcia Lorca, traditional Spanish song. In this version, we are utilizing 12 compas solea, solea por bulerias tempo but the song can easily be adapted to other time signatures 4/4 or bulerias.
